City of Centennial Mayor Cathy Noon was named Woman of the Year by the  Aurora Chamber of Commerce for her distinguished service as a member of the chamber and for her leadership in advancing the community’s civic, cultural and governmental interests and objectives.

“I am honored to receive this award and excited to see the community’s interests progress toward a vision of growth,” Noon said. “It’s a pleasure to be a member of the Chamber. The continued leadership and accomplishments of the group make the southeast metro area a great place to visit, live and work.”

Noon and other honorees were recognized at the Chamber’s 57th Annual Awards Banquet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, DIA, earlier this month. More than 500 community leaders, business owners, professionals and political leaders attended the black-tie event.
